A message to the Devens community regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19)
On March 10, 2020, Governor Charlie Baker declared a State of Emergency in Massachusetts to support the Commonwealth’s response to the outbreak of Coronavirus. On March 15, 2020, the Baker-Polito Administration also announced new guidance for Executive Branch employees based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Department of Public Health to prevent and mitigate the spread of COVID-19. MassDevelopment, the state’s finance and economic development authority, is adopting policies consistent with this guidance, and will continue to monitor this rapidly evolving situation.
Effective Monday, March 16 until further notice, MassDevelopment offices at 33 Andrews Parkway in Devens will be closed to the public. The Devens Fire Department, Devens Department of Public Works & Recreation, and Devens Utilities will continue providing their essential services to the community.
